Abstract

The door seal, which is lowered when the door is closed and raised on opening and closing, has a U-shaped metal guide rail (1) to hold a sealing body (2,3) as a rubber sealing lip, a drive mechanism (5,9) to raise/lower the sealing body in relation to the guide rail, and an operating rod. The drive is secured at one mounting point, the drive rod is at a second mounting point (8') at the sealing body, with the assembly is secured to the guide rail at a third mounting point (8) which is lower than the other two fastening points.
