Abstract

The motor-powered articulated mechanism, to open/close a fanlight window or flap, has a longitudinal housing (1) to accommodate a drive and the articulated mechanism. A grip (40,40a) which is opened for release of its hold in or around a pin (Z), installed in the gap (12) between the window pane and the frame, acts on an opening/closing rod (49) for the window. The grip assembly is near the housing, and projects from it. The operation is through a wall nut on a spindle. A coupling is between the nut and a push member, to allow rotation (R) of the nut against the push member. The push member has an arm (40) to operate the rod at the window for the opening or closing movement.
