Abstract

1. A rotary display stand comprising a base (1) carrying a central pivot with a vertical axis (8) on which a support (9) is mounted for objects to be displayed, this support (9) being generally parallelepipedic in form, consisting of at least four rectangular panels, the support (9) being connected to the central pivot (8) by at least one cross bar (17) capable of pivoting about an axis parallel to or merged with that of the central pivot (8), the display stand being characterized in that the rectangular panels are hinged to each other along axes along their contiguous sides ot form a foldable unit, the panels being brought into a position substantially parallel to each other when the support is in the folded position and in that the transverse arm (17) is hinged by its two ends to the centres of the two upper edges (12) of two opposite panels, the relative positions of the transverse arm (17) and said opposite panels being capable of being fixed.
