The invention relates to a hinge-lid pack for cigarettes or similar smoking articles, and a blank for making such a pack, the pack having a base with a base front wall (4), a base back wall (13a), a base bottom wall (10), and base side walls (15), and a lid (2) with a lid front wall (5), a lid top wall (12), and lid side walls (6), the pack being made from a blank (1), preferably a cardboard blank, which is folded to define said base and said lid (2) of said pack, the blank having a front surface defining the outer face of the pack and carrying printed information thereon, and a rear surface, wherein the rear surface of the blank carries printed information.
