Abstract

Production of barium or strontium titanate comprises reacting a titanium alkoxide with barium or strontium hydroxide hydrate in a C1-C8 alcohol or glycol ether at 50-150degreesC. An Independent claim is also included for barium or strontium titanate produced as above and having an average particle diameter below 10 nm.
