Abstract

Disclosed is an ink cartridge to be mounted on a recording head that is provided with an ink-supplying needle (7). Said ink cartridge comprises (a) a first ink chamber (1) encompassing a first porous and compressible element (6), and (b) an ink-supplying nozzle (3) which is connected to the first ink chamber via at least one port so as to direct the ink from the ink chamber to the ink-supplying needle (7). A second porous and compressible element is disposed in a movable manner inside the ink-supplying nozzle
