Abstract

The fixing (10) between a tank (20), especially cylindrical in shape, and an outer supporting frame, consists of a flange (11) on the outer wall (21) of the tank, a skirt (12) connected to a beam (31) of the frame, and a thermally-insulating joint (13) between the flange and skirt on a fixing bolt (15) held by a nut (16). The skirt is at least partially circular in shape to follow the outer wall of the tank while leaving a clearance (E) between them. The skirt is fastened to the frame and the flange to the tank by welding.
