Abstract

The gripping yoke (1) consists of an upper jaw (4) that can be deployed and retracted relative to a lower thrust member (3) by means of a power cylinder. In the retracted position the jaw and thrust member lie flush with one another, while in the deployed position the jaw rotates about its axis by means of a guide rod in the power cylinder so that a workpiece can be gripped between the jaw and thrust member.
