Abstract

Terminal arrangements for low-voltage distributors include designs having an additional base arranged outside a main base for receiving a protective- and/or neutral conductor rail, and where the neutral- (N) protective- (PE) rails are external of the main structure, an isolating switch or isolator is required for the N-conductor and is plugged onto the main base, in order to facilitate measurement of the insulation relative to earth when testing the distributor. To avoid the additional expense and installation outlay involved in these designs, good security against unprotected contact is achieved together with easier assembly, by having an additional base (Z) designed as a pluggable base and by having the (supply) terminal positioned in a housing, made of an insulating material, of a pluggable part (S1,S2,S3) which can be plugged on the additional base (Z).
