Abstract

The transport/display has side sections (A,B) bonded together by lateral webs (10), to form holders (12) for the merchandise (S). The webs have flaps (14,16) extending into the holder at an angle so that, when a merchandise item (S) is inserted, the flap is pressed back to give a sprung holding effect on the pastry (S) in the holding zone (12). The transport/display is a folding box of cardboard or corrugated cardboard. The flaps may have sections (20) which project from the sides of the holders.
