Abstract

The switch has a pole and corresponding electromagnetic (18) and thermal (34) triggers, a contact point, a chamber and connecting contacts. A pressure knob (13) forms an actuating element with a latching lever (90) mounted upon it which can be actuated by the thermal and electromechanical triggers. The latching lever forms a latching point on the pressure knob in conjunction with a coupling element (60) coupled to the contact lever (64) so that the contact lever is pivoted towards the switch-off direction when it unlatches.
