Abstract

1. An elastomer cup-type bearing for structures, in particular bridges, comprising a cup (5) and a cover (6) which engages into the cup, as well as an elastomer disc (2) which is enclosed between the cup and the cover and which forms the deformable part of the bearing upon loading thereof, characterised in that the elastomer disc (2) is connected by vulcanisation on both sides to respective steel plates (3) and is thus formed as a reinforced elastomer bearing in which the steel plates (3) on the two sides thereof project beyond the edge (4) adjoining same of the elastomer layer (2), wherein the faces (1) thereof, which extend therearound uncovered freely in an outward direction, are of a concave configuration.
