Abstract

The light has a housing (1) of essentially U-shaped cross-section contg. at least one lamp (7) with holders (4) and operating devices (3), including reflectors (2), and a cover (5), which sits on the edge of the housing in the mounted state. The housing and cover are made of the same thermoplastic material using the same shaping tool and are connected together. The facing edge profiles (13,51) of the housing and cover form a closed peripheral elastic latch connection which provides the necessary sealing of the two parts.The parts are connected permanently on one side by a transverse elastically deformable strap (6) which forms a loose closed tube connection when the housing is latched closed at the other side.
