Abstract

The arrangement includes an electric starter for starting a combustion engine (2), and a generator for transforming mechanical power into electric current for flight instruments propelled by the combustion engine. An integrated starter/generator unit (3) is connected over a gearing (4) with the combustion engine, and is formed in such way, that it works both as starter as well as generator.
