Abstract

Mfg. a candle from different layers (3), each comprising a series of elongated elements, generally square or rectangular in shape and in contrasting colours comprises setting the layers of the candle at different angles to one another, and when the required number of layers are assembled, cutting the candle to the required shape. A group of multi-coloured layers can be separated from the next group by a solid one-colour layer. The candle is made from extruded paraffin wax powder, and the layers joined together by heating or compression.
