Abstract

The invention relates to a clamping strap for producing snow-trapping systems or similar roof superstructures on metal roofs, composed of two clamping jaws (2, 3) which are pressed on both sides against a standing seam (5) of the metal roof (6) by means of screws (7, 8) and serve as clamping parts, and of a through-passage (10) through which a tube (11) can be plugged. Up until now the production and mounting of roof superstructures of this type have been difficult to handle and have wasted a lot of time, and have thus been costly. Furthermore, they were restricted to a single application. The object of the invention is thus to provide a clamping strap for snow-trapping systems or similar roof superstructures, the production, mounting and application of which are improved and which are held more securely on the standing seam. This object is achieved in that the invention provides, as clamping part, a single-part, U-shaped extruded profile (1), the legs of which are configured as clamping jaws (2, 3). <IMAGE>
