Abstract

In the case of a heat-insulating structural element, in particular for roof and wall structures, a plurality of material layers (1 - 4) are connected to one another over their entire surface to form a sandwich panel. In this arrangement, a foamed-plastic layer (3) is provided between two outer covering layers (1, 4) which are of the same thickness and are based on wood.
