Abstract
In a wing frame with an espagnolette fitting for windows, doors or the like, the wing spars 1 have, on their circumferential rebate surfaces 3, an open stepped groove 4, the so-called Euro-groove, with an outer wide groove step 5 and an inner narrow groove step 7. Located with it longitudinal edges 13 in the outer wide groove step 5 is an espagnolette profile 12 which can be brought into longitudinally shiftable holding engagement with guide pieces 16 which are seated fixedly in the region of the inner narrow groove step 7 or which are fixed therein by means of fastening elements, such as screws 30. There is provided or used as an espagnolette profile 12 a cover-rail profile of flat-rectangular cross-section, which, over its length, has at predetermined points bent or embossed portions 14 extending at least over part of its material thickness and over a predetermined length and transversely to its plane. In this invention, the bent or embossed portions 14 are directed away from the groove 4 and contain long holes or longitudinal slots 15 which are matched to the length of the pushing distance of the espagnolette 12 and into which can be inserted knob-like mouldings as guide pieces 16 which have a head 17 bearing against the outside of the espagnolette 12, a neck 18 passing through the espagnolette 12, a foot 19 engaging under the latter and a central passage channel 20. On the one hand, the foot 19 has a width which is smaller than the width of the long holes or slots 15 in the espagnolette, and on the other hand it has a length which is matched to the width 6 of the outer wide groove step 5 of the stepped groove 4. At least the foot ends 26 are provided with a thickness 27 which is matched to the depth of the bent or embossed portions 14, and the guide pieces 16 designed as knob-like mouldings are anchored fixedly in the bottom of the stepped groove 4, at least when the foot ends 26 are supported in the wide groove step 5, via a screw 30 which passes through their central passage channel 20. <IMAGE>
