Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Künstliche Hand für mechanischen und Muskelschluss.
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i.
<Desc / Clms Page number 1>
Artificial hand for mechanical and muscle closure.
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
If one finger hits an obstacle, the others continue to move on their own and so the front fingers adapt to an irregular object. The individual phalanxes are expediently provided with rubber cushions on the inside (gripping) side. t,
The hand can be closed by pulling on the eyelet q using the muscles of the stump of the arm or by the mechanical locking device, for which an embodiment is indicated in the drawing. By rotating the vertebra r in the direction of the arrow (Fig. I), the gear wheel s rotated and by this the rack t moved backwards and spread the pair of toggle levers.
The vortex and the rack are held in the closed position by the pawl u and the ratchet wheel w attached to the rack guide v. The entire locking device is displaceable in the slot x of the forearm, so that even when the mechanical locking device is used, the muscle pull can be applied or both means of movement can complement one another. The two ball and pin joints of the toggle lever pair and their position in the interior of the hollow ball n of the wrist during the closed position ensure that the wrist can be steered from all sides.
PATENT CLAIMS: i. Artificial hand with three-part articulated fingers, the movement (curvature or extension) of which is inevitably carried out eccentrically to the joint axes of the individual parts of the engaging organs by driving the rearmost part, characterized in that with the hand body (a) the second next finger phalanx (cl to cl and the associated third or outermost link (dz to 4 ″) is connected to the rearmost link (bl to b4) closest to the hand body.
