  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Futterersatzmittels aus Stroh, Häcksel u. dgl. 



   Bei der Herstellung von Futterersatzmitteln aus Stroh, Häcksel u. dgl. wird das Rohmaterial in einen Kessel gebracht, und es werden die Zellen durch eine Flotte bestehend aus Natronlauge, Wasser und Dampf aufgeschlossen. Nach erfolgtem Kochen, d. h. nach Aufschliessen der Zellen, wird das gesamte   Material   aus dem Kochkessel herausgebracht und sodann mittels Wasser ausgewaschen, damit die schädlichen Chemikalien entfernt werden.

   Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet demgegenüber ein Verfahren, welches den erwähnten Mangel nicht mehr besitzt. Die schädlichen Chemikalien werden bei diesem Verfahren vollkommen ausgewaschen. 



   Das Verfahren besteht darin, dass in bekannter Weise mittels einer Flotte aus Natronlauge, Dampf und Wasser ein Kochen des Strohes oder Häcksels stattfindet. Der Dampf wird durch die Flotte   hindu-ehgeführt,   so dass sich dieselbe in ständiger Bewegung zusammen mit dem Stroh oder Häcksel befindet. Hierbei werden alle Zellen aufgeschlossen und die

 eine Abkühlung eintritt, erfolgt ein Auswaschen mittels heissem Wasser. Es ist also unmöglich, dass sich die Zellen schliessen, so dass schädliche Chemikalien nicht mehr in den Zellen enthalten sein können.

   Ausserdem dringt das   Spülwasser   durch das auszuwaschende Material viel besser hindurch, wenn dasselbe sich noch in heissem Zustande befindet, als wenn es durch die   Umschüttung bereits   erkaltet ist.
