  Verfahren zum Schleifen von Holz In einem   Holzsoh1elfer,   bel dem die Pressflächen der
Presskolben zur Achsenrichtung der   Presska8ten   schräg   gestellt   sind. 



   Beim Langschleifen von Holz ist es bekanntlich von grosser Bedeutung, dass ein Schleifen entgegengesetzt der Faserrichtung vermieden wird. Zu diesem Zwecke muss das Holz während des Schleifens immer eine solche Stellung im Verhältnis zum Schleifstein einnehmen, dass ein Schrägschleifen des Holzes in der Richtung der Fasern stattfindet. 



   Damit man dieses Schrägschleifen mit den jetzt gebräuchlichen Holzschleifern durchfuhren kann, werden gemäss der Erfindung die Presskolbeu im Verhältnis zur Achse der Schleifkasten schräg gestellt. Diese Anordnung ist für das Schleifen von Holz bereits bekannt, doch liegt hier das Holz parallel zur Achse des Schleifsteins, während es beim Gegenstand der Erfindung um 900 gedreht, also mit den Längsfasern etwa tangential zur

   Diese Anordnung ist in der Zeichnung schematisch veranschaulicht. 



   Das zu schleifende Holz   A   wird durch den Presskolben B in dem   Prosskasten   D gegen den Schleifstein 0 gepresst. Der Kolben B ist im Verhältnis zum   Presslcasten   D schräg gestellt. 



  Gemäss der Erfindung wird das Holz A immer in seiner ganzen Länge vom Schleifstein C in der Richtung der Fasern schräg geschliffen.

   The wood A to be sanded is pressed against the grindstone 0 by the plunger B in the Pross box D. The piston B is inclined in relation to the press box D.
