  Thermostatisch gesteuertes Mischventil.

  Thermostatically controlled mixing valve.

It is already known to use thermostatically controlled valves, e.g. B. those for heating systems, with a screw-down valve, which is provided with a setting to unite. Furthermore, thermostatically controlled mixing valves with a special screw-down valve are also known. However, these mixing valves have the disadvantage that when the screw-down valve is shut off, cold water can pass through the hot water supply line or vice versa, unless special shut-off valves are also installed in the hot or cold water supply line.

The subject of the present invention is a combination of the above-mentioned valve types, in such a way that the mixing valve is used both as an automatically thermostatically controlled mixing valve and by the shut-off valve without furthermore, d. H. can be closed without the installation of the special shut-off valves still required in the known mixing valves.

For this purpose, according to the invention, the double cone controlling the hot and cold water inflow is arranged in the mixing chamber itself, in such a way that when the shut-off valve that controls the hot water flow is closed by it, the passage of cold water is simultaneously shut off by means of an interposed spring .

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in a longitudinal section.

As the drawing shows, in the pipe r to which the mixing chamber k with the inflows z1 and z2 for cold and warm water is screwed at the bottom, in a manner known per se
 EMI1.1
is provided and the lower linkage g2 acts loosely on the two inflow valves and v2.

The two valves vl, v2 are separated from one another. The valve vi, which is used to shut off the cold water inflow, is provided with two sealing surfaces and is arranged in the mixing chamber k between the two valve seats s1 and s2 so that, depending on the position of the linkage g2 of the expansion body, it is on one as well as on place the other of these valve seats and thus shut off either the inflow of cold or the inflow of warm water. The valve for shutting off the hot water flow takes place in a deep ring
 EMI1.2
presses and thus also closes the inflow of cold water.

The spring f does not prevent this, there. is never compressed, and the same applies to the expansion body a, because when the rod y2 is pushed back, the upper puffing hose p or the regulating device t 'can yield. If, by unscrewing the spindle s, the hot water

body, which is only counteracted by the tension of the spring f. As soon as the hot water touches the expansion body, it expands against the valve vu zou, opens it, so that both liquids then enter the mixing chamber k and the mixing tube r. The device is now working again as an automatic mixer.

There is also a scale l on the sleeve b and a corresponding one on the handle of the spindle a
 EMI1.4
pipe r can be adjusted to a certain dimension.
