  Stopfbüchse mit luftgekühlter Deckhülse. 



   Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Stopfbüchse mit luftgekühlter Deckhülse, bei welcher, behufs leichterer Auswechselbarkeit der Packung in die   Deckhülse   eine zweite kleinere Hülse beweglich eingesetzt ist, weiche die Packung trägt. 



   In der Zeichnung ist die   Stopfbuchse   nach der Erfindung in einem Längsschnitt dargestellt. A ist die Kolbenstange, gegen welche sich Dichtungsringe C,   C2,   L,   Cg   und M aus Weissmetall oder dgl. anlegen. Diese Ringe sind in einer Hülse h2 untergebracht und samt letzterer in die Deckhütse D beweglich eingesetzt, deren äussere Umfläche von der Aussenluft bestrichen und daher gekühlt wird. Die die Schleifringe enthaltende Hülse ha steht unter dem   Einfluss   einer auf den Ring M drückenden Feder S, wodurch ein gutes Anliegen der Schleifringe an der Kolbenstange erreicht wird.

   Die Deckhülse, welche unter Vermittlung eines mit einer Kugelfläche versehenen Ringes Dl die innere Hülse, ohne ihr die notwendige Beweglichkeit zu nehmen, hält, wird in bekannter Weise durch einen gegen eine Randflansch   d4 sich   stützenden Deckel   ecliel G   festgehalten. Die innere Hülse h2, welche ein einfaches, billiges Werkstück ist, kann für jede Stopfbüchse in mehreren Exemplaren, gegebenenfalls schon mit der gebrauchsfertigen Packung gefüllt, vorrätig gehalten werden.

   The subject matter of the invention is a stuffing box with an air-cooled cover sleeve, in which a second, smaller sleeve is movably inserted into the cover sleeve for easier replacement of the packing, which carries the pack.



   In the drawing, the stuffing box according to the invention is shown in a longitudinal section. A is the piston rod against which sealing rings C, C2, L, Cg and M made of white metal or the like are placed. These rings are accommodated in a sleeve h2 and, together with the latter, are movably inserted into the cover D, the outer circumferential surface of which is swept by the outside air and is therefore cooled. The sleeve ha containing the slip rings is under the influence of a spring S pressing on the ring M, as a result of which the slip rings fit well against the piston rod.

   The cover sleeve, which holds the inner sleeve by means of a ring D1 provided with a spherical surface, without depriving it of the necessary mobility, is held in place in a known manner by a cover ecliel G supported against an edge flange d4. The inner sleeve h2, which is a simple, inexpensive workpiece, can be kept in stock for each stuffing box in several copies, optionally already filled with the ready-to-use pack.

PATENT CLAIM: Stuffing box with air-cooled cover sleeve, characterized in that a second, smaller sleeve (h2) is movably inserted into this cover sleeve (D), which in turn carries the packing in order to make the packing easy to replace.
