the rising bottom of the groove a3 is moved up to the detent a2 and has finally fallen back into the detent a2 under the action of the spring 91. The parts then assume the position according to FIGS. 1 to 3 and 8 again.

If the shutter is to be closed without prior loading, the Ap. Set e3 of the ejector E out of engagement with the notches d3 of the locking part D by turning the ejector D by means of the lever e4.

If the lock is to be operated by hand, the handle F is grasped, whereby the locking lug g2 of the locking pawl G is brought out of engagement with the catch a2. Then turn the handle F in the direction of the arrow z. Hiebei the closure is opened by means of the push lever shaft Cl and the push lever C. By turning the push lever shaft Cl, the bushing Q is positioned opposite the sleeve through the intermediary of the arms e6, the rod M, the piston rod p1 and the piston P. V shifted in the direction of arrow x so that the closing spring T is tensioned. The tension of the opening spring R does not change here, since its two abutments, the rod JM and the bush Q, move by the same amount. The locking mechanism u1 q3 does not come into effect, since the piston P moves with the sleeve Q and the locking mechanism keeps disengaged.

The locking of the lock in the loading position (FIG. 7) by the ejector E and the closing of the lock under the action of the spring T take place in the manner described above
Wise.

If you want to separate the parts, which are mounted on the gun barrel and slide and which are used for automatic opening and closing of the breech, from the gun barrel and slide, you loosen bolts m1 and a4. The sleeve N together with the rod M, the piston P and the piston rod p1, the bushing Q, the pawl and the springs R and T can be removed without any further problems. The springs-ss and T retain their preload. The two accumulators (M R Q and N T Q) that mediate the opening and closing of the breech block can therefore be removed together quickly and easily from the gun barrel and slide and, as usual
