   Der Quadratstab s, welcher aus dem ersten Kaliber in solcher   hochkantiger   Stellung herauskommt. dass sine Kanten a und c in einer wagrechten Ebene liegen (Fig. 3, schraffiert gezeichnete   Stellung     des Stabquerschnittes), muss zunächst,   je nach der Neigungsrichtung der Kantbacken nach der entsprechenden Seite um 450 umgelegt werden, damit er durch die nachfolgend auf ihn einwirkende Kantvorrichtung in die für das Walzen im nächsten Kaliber richtige Stellung gebracht, d. h. mit in lotrechter Ebene liegenden Kanten a, c eingeführt werde.

   Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass   der in Verwendung kommende Abstreifmeissel   den aus dem Kaliber kommenden
Quadratstab zum Kippen nach der gewünschten Seite (punktiert gezeichnete Lage des Stabquerschnittes in Fig. 3) zwingt.

Die Rollen r bringen den in der hochkantigen Stellung durch die Backenrollen t gehaltenen und geführten Quadratstab in das nächste Walzenkaliber. 



   Bei Anwendung von Rollengängen werden die Kantbacken der Vorrichtung in einem Schlitz längs der Strecke zwischen den Rollen verschiebbar angeordnet. PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
