Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung, mittels deren der zwischen Tür und Fussboden befindliche Spalt mit Hilfe einer, sich dem Fussboden anpassenden Dichtungsleiste abgedichtet werden kann. Während bei früheren Erfindungen dieser Art das Heben oder Senken der Dichtungsleiste während des Öffnens oder Schliessens der Tür geschah, wird bei der neuen Vorrichtung die Dichtungsleiste durch den Türverschluss derart bewegt, dass die Leiste schon hochgehoben ist, wenn die Tür gedreht wird, wodurch ein Schleifen auf dem Fussboden ausgeschlossen ist, so dass Teppiche und Läufer bis dicht vor die Tür oder, da das Schwellbrett fortfallen kann, unter der Tür durchgelegt werden können.
