Abstract

The invention relates to a device for mixing or sieving, a commercially available mixing machine being rebuilt to form a rotating sieve for soil, compost and other material. The features of the patent claim solve the object according to the invention. Device for mixing or sieving, characterized in that on the dome-shaped lower drum half 5 of a mixing machine known per se, by using a quick-change device 9, 10, 11, 12, a coarse-mesh or fine-mesh drum-like sieve (Fig. 1) for sieving or a dome-shaped drum half 6 for mixing is mounted, or the drum-like sieve (Fig. 1) is fitted permanently to the lower drum half 5. <IMAGE>

Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a device for mixing or sieving, a commercially available mixing machine being converted into a rotating throwing grid for soil, compost and others. According to the invention, the features of the claim serve to solve the problems
As a result of continuous, even throwing into the rotating drum-shaped and slightly inclined throwing grid, ascending coarse material (e.g. stones) is pushed out of the rotating throwing grid, fine material falls directly into the sliding chest placed under the throwing grid.

Variant 1 If the mixing machine is used as a throwing grid, instead of the front one
Half of the drum (6), the throwing grille Fig. 1 should be mounted on the dome-shaped lower drum half (5). If the mixer drum Fig. 2 can not be divided into two parts, then the front half of the drum (6) along the
Sprocket (7) are separated in order to be able to mount the throwing grid.

Variant 2 If a mixing machine is used as a throwing grid and as a mixing machine, the entire mixer drum Fig. 2 can be exchanged for the prefabricated throwing grid unit Fig. 3 in a short time or vice versa.

Variant 3 With the quick-change device Fig. 4 (9, 10, 11, 12), a mixing machine can be converted from the mixing machine to a throwing grid in a very short time or vice versa. In this embodiment, the front half of the drum (6) and the throwing grille Fig. 1 with the part (9) and the dome-shaped
Half of drum (5) must be equipped with part (10). With part (11) Fig. 1 or (6) can be coupled to the (5), tensioned and secured with a split pin through the opening (12).

Advantages compared to conventional free-standing casters: 1. The throwing material is thrown into the rotating grating grid only once, the rest of the work is done by the mixer motor
2. Screened material - e.g. B. Soil or compost - falls ready to use In the sliding chest placed under the grid.

   3. Stones and other debris fall separately over the pourer (3) into a sliding chest placed in front of the throwing grille.

4 Without special effort and time z. B. garden soil and compost in larger
Quantities are produced ready for use.

5 The sand can be effortlessly sifted out of a gravel-sand mixture.

   6. Quick change from the mixing machine to the grille, or from a large-mesh to a fine-mesh grille.
