Abstract
A carrying aid in the form of a handle is proposed for engaging on strap- or string-shaped elements provided for carrying objects, in particular carrying straps of plastic or paper sacks or bags, the handle being of a one- piece design and being provided with finger grooves arranged transversely to its longitudinal extent and also with a receiving groove which runs in its longitudinal direction for receiving the strap- or string-shaped elements, with the distinguishing feature of the handle 1 having a cross section in the form of a V which is rounded off at the bottom. <IMAGE>
Description

The invention relates to a carrying aid in the form of a handle for attaching to band-shaped or cord-shaped elements provided for carrying objects
For carrying tied parcels, a carrying aid in the form of a handle has been known for many decades, which consists of a hollow cylinder made of cardboard, which is penetrated by a stiff wire and which forms outside the hollow cylinder at right angles to it, the ends of which are bent back that they can be hung in the packaging cords running on the surface of the package.
The currently most popular transport containers for shopping goods, especially food, are sacks or bags made of plastic or paper, which Matenal can hold with great weight and have tapes attached or welded on. These lanyards are not stable enough. in order to maintain their originally flat shape when worn under tensile stress, but fold in the transverse direction and cut with the longitudinal edge formed in the finger joint area of the wearer more or less depending on the load, so that even circulatory disorders occur on the hand.
The invention remedies this by a very simple carrying aid in the form of a handle, the handle being formed in one piece and provided with finger ends arranged transversely to its longitudinal extent and with a receiving groove running in its longitudinal direction for receiving the band-shaped or cord-shaped elements, which are characterized in that is that the handle has a cross section of a V rounded below.
The handle according to the invention can be formed from any rigid material, e.g. B. wood or plastic - mainly made of plastic.
To grasp a filled sack or bag, the handle is gripped with the finger grooves pointing downwards, the carrying straps (or cords) of the sack or bag are hung in the upper receiving groove and then the sack is raised, irrespective of this. that or whether the carrying straps fold in the transverse direction, since the carrying straps only touch the handle but not the hand of the wearer.
An example of a handle according to the invention is shown in the drawing, in which FIG. 1 is a side view and FIG. 2 is a front view. The handle 1 has finger grooves 2 extending transversely to the longitudinal direction on its underside and a longitudinally extending receiving groove 3 for carrying straps or cords on its upper side, the transverse profile of which is shown rounded.
