Abstract

1. An apparatus for packaging a stack of goods (10) held by a pallet in particular, by means of a shrink film, having a conveying track (1) for conveying the stack of goods (10) to a station (3) for wrapping it in films of thermoplastic material and furthermore for conveying the stack of goods through a channel which can be heated and in which the films can be shrunk onto the stack of goods (10), a plurality of pairs of rollers (33) with film webs (34) of different widths, which pairs can be moved transversely to the conveying direction (A) into the working position and out of this, and furthermore a device (35) for severing the films drawn off by the two rollers of the pairs (33) and for welding these films together being provided in the station (3) for wrapping the stack of goods in the films, characterised in that the individual pairs of rollers (33), which are aligned at least approximately vertically, are movable into their working position from above the conveying track (1) or from the side, in planes spaced apart from one another in the direction of the conveying track (1).
