Abstract

Crash helmet, of which the helmet shell has, on the rear part of the neck opening, a neck guard which is preferably designed to butt closely against the neck, having a chin guard which can be released from the helmet shell and can be pivoted forwards and upwards, as a result of which the neck opening can be increased in size when the crash helmet is put on or removed, characterized by the circle-arc-shaped link plates 3 with edges, grooves or slots 3a in the circle-arc direction at the two ends of the chin guard 2 which are directed towards the helmet shell 1, and by the circle-arc-shaped pushed- in channels 4, in the helmet shell 1, which are an accurate fit for the link plates 3, it being the case that the link plates 3 have locking elements 10, 11, and arranged in the helmet shell 1, in the region of the push- in channels 4, are openings 1b, into which the locking elements 10, 11 can latch and be actuated from the outside, and that the neck guard 5, 6 is continued on the chin guard 2. <IMAGE>

   Der kreisbogenförmige   Steg --4a-- im Einschubschacht --4-- dient   dazu, die Laschen - in herausgeschwenkter Position zu stützen und ein verkantungsfreies Wiedereinführen der Kinnbügellaschen zu ermöglichen.

    PATENTANSPRÜCHE :    
1. Sturzhelm, dessen Helmschale am rückwärtigen Teil der Halsöffnung eine Halskrause aufweist, welche vorzugsweise am Hals enganliegend ausgebildet ist, mit einem von der Helmschale lösbaren Kinnbügel, der nach vorne-oben schwenkbar ist, wodurch die Halsöffnung beim Aufsetzen bzw.

   Abnehmen des Sturzhelmes vergrössert werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass kreisbogenförmige Laschen (3) mit Kanten, Nuten oder Schlitzen (3a) in Kreisbogenrichtung an den beiden der Helmschale   (1)   zugewendeten Enden des Kinnbügels (2) ausgebildet sind und dass in der Helmschale   (1)   zu den Laschen (3) passgenaue, kreisbogenförmige Einschubschächte (4) vorgesehen sind, wobei die Laschen (3) Verriegelungselemente (10, 11) aufweisen und in der Helmschale   (1)   im Bereich der Einschubschächte (4) Öffnungen (lb) angeordnet sind, in welche die Verriegelungselemente (10, 11) einrasten und von aussen betätigt werden können und dass die Halskrause (5, 6) am Kinnbügel (2) fortgesetzt ist.
