Der Vorgang des Verfahrens zum Schneiden von Schrägotreifen und zum Falten derselben ist nun folgender. Dann wird dieser an der Rückenkante befreite abgeschnittene Stoff durch Niederbewegen des Scherenmessers m in schmale Streifen geschnitten, die hierauf durch Niederdrücken des Lineales p in den Walzen-Zwischenraum der Walzen n, o gepresst und durch Drehen der Walzen in ihrer Längsrichtung gefaltet werden.
Zur Herstellung weiterer Streifen hat man nur nötig, den Vorgang in derselben Weise durch Niederbewegen des Messerhebels zum Abschneiden des Rückens und des anderen Messerhebels zum Abschneiden der Streifen und nachheriges Falzen zu wiederholen.
