Abstract
A power supply system for a room heater which is operated using hot water and for a hot water supply, in which an internal combustion engine is coupled to a generator, to which a feed circuit for an electrical heating device in the hot water circuit is connected, to which an auxiliary generator, which is operated with alternative energy, is connected. The waste heat is likewise supplied to the hot water circuit via the cooling water. Furthermore, an electrical energy store is provided. The invention provides a power supply system which is particularly suitable for remote buildings and the like. The electrical heating device is arranged directly in a boiler which feeds the hot water supply; the cooling circuit is likewise connected directly to this boiler with the space heater or heaters upstream, and the electrical feed circuits for the electrical heating device are passed via the electrical energy store, with an electrical control device detecting the energy available from the alternative energy and on the other hand the energy demand, and feeds the one changeover switch located in the power supply in order to connect the engine-operated generator as required, and/or a circuit breaker for complete disconnection of the electrical heating. <IMAGE>
