  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Rohrflantschen aus Fassoneisen. 



   Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von   Rohrflantschen.   



  Die Flanschen werden aus Fassoneisen von geeignetem Querschnitt in der Weise hergestellt, dass die Bänder, beispielsweise mittels Walzen, in Spiralform gebogen werden, deren lichter Durchmesser dem äusseren Rohrdurchmesser, für welchen die Flanschen bestimmt sind, entspricht. Aus diesen Spiralen werden dann Ringe gebildet, indem man die einzelnen Gänge aufschneidet. Der Trennungsspalt dieser Ringe wird sodann verschweisst. worauf die so hergestellten Rohrflantschen in der üblichen Weise mit den zugehörigen Rohrenden durch Schweissen oder Löten verbunden werden. 



   Durch dieses Verfahren wird das Material, abgesehen von einem   ganz geringfügigen   Abfall, vollständig ausgenutzt, wodurch eine wesentliche Verbilligung der Rohrflantschenfabrikation erzielt wird. Es ist deshalb für die   Massenfabrikation.   besonders kleinerer Rohrflantschen, von grosser Bedeutung und geeignet, das bisherige Verfahren, kleinere Rohrflantschen durch Stanzen und Pressen herzustellen, wobei bis zu   600/0   Abfall vorkommen, ganz zu verdrängen.

   The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing pipe flanges.



  The flanges are made of shaped iron with a suitable cross-section in such a way that the strips are bent into a spiral shape, for example by means of rollers, the clear diameter of which corresponds to the outer tube diameter for which the flanges are intended. Rings are then formed from these spirals by cutting the individual threads. The separation gap between these rings is then welded. whereupon the pipe flanges produced in this way are connected in the usual way to the associated pipe ends by welding or soldering.



   With this process, the material is fully utilized, apart from a very small amount of waste, which results in a substantial reduction in the price of pipe flange production.
