Versuche   haben nun gezeigt, dass insbesondere Titanoxid (Rutil) ein vorzüglicher   Lichtspender ist,   dass es aber ein Nichtleiter der Elektrizität ist, dem andere Stoffe beigemengt   werden müssen, um   es   zündfähig   zu machen. 



   Es zeigte sich nun, dass   jeder derartige Zusatz zu Titanoxyd die Lichtstärke des Licht-
