Klemmbacken für Eisenbahnschienen, um ihr Wandern zu verhindern, welche mit dem sich gegen die Schwellen stützenden Anschlag aus einer Eisen-, Stahl-oder dgL Platte durch Umbiegen und Abkröpfen hergestellt werden, sind bereits bekannt. Diese bisher bekannten Klemmbacken zeigen im wesentlichen u-förmigen Querschnitt und benötigen infolgedessen einerseits einen verhältnismässig grossen Materialaufwand, andererseits ist die Schienen fuss- klemmfläche nicht genügend gross und die AnscblagflÅache zu wenig versteift.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet demgegenüber eine zweckmässigere Ausführungs- form eines Klemmbackens für Eisenbahnschienen. wie ein solcher in der Zeichnung in zwei Beispielen dargestellt ist.

Clamping jaws for railroad tracks, in order to prevent them from moving, which are produced with the stop which is supported against the sleepers from an iron, steel or similar plate by bending over and crimping, are already known. These previously known clamping jaws have an essentially U-shaped cross-section and consequently, on the one hand, require a relatively large amount of material, and on the other hand, the rail foot clamping surface is not sufficiently large and the stopping surface is insufficiently stiffened.
In contrast, the subject matter of the present invention forms a more expedient embodiment of a clamping jaw for railroad tracks. as such is shown in the drawing in two examples.
