   Demgegenüber wird auf der erfindungsgemässen   Führung--9--der Vorsprung--7--nicht   zurückgehalten, wenn dieser bei der Rückkehrbewegung des Backens entgegen der Richtung des Pfeiles   - 12   oder 13-verschoben werden soll. Dies ist deshalb möglich, weil der   Winkel--ss--,   den eine Tangente-T-in jedem Berührungspunkt des   Vorsprunges --7-- an   der gesamten Führung - mit einer, diesen Berührungspunkt mit der lotrechten   Achse --3-- des Backens --4--   verbindenden   Geraden --17-- einschliesst,   grösser als ein aus der Summe eines rechten Winkels und des Reibungswinkels der aneinandergleitenden Materialien gebildeter Winkel ist. 



   In der vereinfachten Darstellung nach Fig. 2 ist die   Führung--9--geringfügig   in bezug auf eine Linie--16--geneigt, welche die theoretische Begrenzung darstellt, wobei der Winkel--a--gleich oder grösser dem Reibungswinkel zwischen Führung und Vorsprung ist. Hiedurch wird dem Backen eine ausreichende Umkehrfähigkeit auf der Führung erteilt, so dass ein sehr leichtes Rückkehren in die Ausgangslage möglich ist. 



   Die Erfindung ist in keiner Weise auf bestimmte Dimensionen, Ausführungen und Proportionen der verschiedenen, die Erfindung bildenden Elemente beschränkt ; die Elemente können aus verschiedenen Materialien oder Materialkombinationen hergestellt werden. 



   Gleichfalls können die Führungen in verschiedener Weise auf dem Ski angebracht sein, verschiedene Neigungen aufweisen und die Führung auf verschiedene Art ermöglichen. Auch die beweglichen Elemente der Skibindung können beliebige Formen aufweisen, ohne dass hiebei der Rahmen der Erfindung verlassen wird.
