Durch diese Anordnung wird die   Fasswandung dicht und   haltbar und eine einfache   Zusammenstellung   des Fasszylinders erzielt, so   dass   zu dem Aufstecken auf den Zylinder auch ungeübte Arbeitskräfte verwendet werden können.

   Es können alle Arten von Hölzer, schmal, rund, viereckig zu den Fassdauben Verwendung finden, auch ist man an eine   bestimmte Daubcnform nicht   gebunden, da Daubenfugen und etwaiges Arbeiten des Holzes auf die Dichtigkeit des Fasses ohne   Einfluss   sind.
