Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Schaltfester Elektrolytkondensator
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
PATENTANSPRÜCHE ;

<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The use of graphite has proven to be particularly advantageous because graphite is insoluble in the commonly used electrolytes and does not chemically react with them. It is particularly advantageous to use dry graphite, since any influence of a binding or emulsifying agent on the forming properties of the electrolytic capacitor is then avoided. At the same time, this leads to a very simple process in which the tear strength of the paper is not impaired.
Comparative measurements on electrolytic capacitors, the cathodes of which were provided with a graphite layer arranged according to the invention, showed a decrease in capacitance of only 2 to 3% after 1000 switching operations, while the capacity of comparative capacitors equipped with non-graphitized cathodes had decreased by 180/0 after 1000 switching operations.
PATENT CLAIMS;
1. Switchable electrolytic capacitor whose electrodes consist of foils made of valve metal and whose dielectric consists of an oxide layer formed on the anode, and in which a graphite layer is arranged between the surface of the cathode and the electrolyte, characterized in that the graphite layer is known per se Way is applied to the side of an intermediate paper layer facing the cathode.
