Wenn man einen dünnen Strahl wünscht, bringt man den Ablenkkörper in die mit der Bezugsziffer 1 bezeichnete Stellung oberhalb des konvergierenden Teiles 4 der Düse. Wenn. man einen sich verbreiternden Strahl wünscht, senkt man den Ablenkkörper innerhalb der Düse in die mit dem Bezugszeichen 2 bezeichnete Stellung am Ausgang der Düse. Geringfügige Änderungen in der Stellung 2 des Ablenkkörpers am Ausgang der Düse ermöglichen leicht eine Änderung des Grades der Strahlausbreitung.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Vorrichtung zum Beblasen eines Metallbades mit einem oxydierenden Gas, welches gegebenenfalls feste, pulverförmige oder körnige Stoffe in Suspension enthält, mittels einer Lanze von oben, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die innere Leitung der Lanze axial einen Strahlablenkkörper enthält, dessen maximaler Durchmesser kleiner ist als der Innendurchmesser der Leitung, und der in der Strömungsrichtung des Blasgases einen divergierend ausgebildeten Teil aufweist, welcher Ablenkkörper an die Mündung der Düse versetzt wird, wenn ein sich ausbreitender Strahl gewünscht wird, und welcher von der Düsenmündung entfernt wird, wenn ein dünner (geschlossener) Strahl gewünscht wird.

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for blowing a metal bath with an oxidizing gas, which optionally contains solid, powdery or granular substances in suspension, by means of a lance from above, characterized in that the inner line of the lance axially contains a beam deflector whose maximum diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the conduit, and which has a diverging part in the flow direction of the blowing gas, which deflector is moved to the mouth of the nozzle when a spreading jet is desired, and which is removed from the nozzle mouth when a thin (closed) Beam is desired.
