is, which in particular consists predominantly of air and partly of another low-loss insulating material. Strangely enough, it has been shown that despite the reduction in self-induction caused by the distance between the core and the winding, which causes the copper path to be lengthened and thus the ohmic resistance to be increased, the quality of the coil increases.
In FIGS. 3 and 4, exemplary embodiments of the high-frequency coils according to the invention are shown. Fig. 3 shows a thin-walled insulating tube 7, for example made of polystyrene, on which the progressive cross shape 8 produced according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is applied, while inside the insulating tube 7 the rod-shaped iron core 9 while maintaining the clearance important for the quality of the coil 23 is arranged. The iron core 9 can be moved axially against the winding 8 with the screw 10, which is preferably glued or screwed into the core by means of a pin 11, which results in a very uniform and sensitive change in the self-induction. Bobbin 7 and screw 10 are attached in a fastening part.
