   Nach der Erfindung wird bei Steckdosen das Einführen der Steckerstifte auf folgende Weise wirksam erleichtert : Auf der   Stirnfläche   der Abdeckung der Steckdose sind ausser einer an sich bekannten in der Verbindungslinie der   Einführungsöffnungen   liegenden Rinne weitere durch die Einführungsöffnungen gehende Rinnen vorgesehen, die parallel zueinander die   Stirnfläche   der Abdeckung durchziehen. Wird hiebei der Stecker gegen die Dose geführt, so lässt sich in kurzer Zeit eine Stellung des Steckers zur Dose finden, in der die Steckerstifte in die Rinnen der Stirnfläche treten und in diesen in die   Einführungsoffnungen   geführt werden.

   Durch die Ausbildung der Steckdose gemäss der Erfindung ist eine erheblich kürzere Zeit für das Einführen des Steckers in die Dose erforderlich als bei den bisher bekannten Steckdosen. Mit dieser Stiftführung wird auch vermieden, dass die Finger beim Einführen des Steckers über die Metallstifte gelegt werden, um die Öffnungen in der Dose zu suchen ; denn   hiebei kann unter Umständen   ein Stromübergang auf den Bedienenden eintreten. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt. Die Fig. 1 zeigt eine Draufsicht und die Fig. 2 einen teilweisen Schnitt einer Steckdose. 



   Die Steckdose hat eine Abdeckung 1 mit zwei Öffnungen   2   für den Durchtritt der Steckerstifte. 



  An der Stirnfläche der   Abdeckung   sind Rinnen angeordnet. Eine Rinne. 3 liegt in der Verbindungslinie der   Eintrittsöffnungen 3 und   ist über die beiden Öffnungen hinaus verlängert.   Erfindungsgemäss   ist an jeder Eintrittsöffnung 2 eine weitere Rinne   4   vorgesehen, die parallel zu der entsprechenden Rinne der andern Eintrittsöffnung liegt.   Zweckmässig   stehen die beiden parallelen Rinnen 4 senkrecht zu der in der Verbindungslinie der Eintrittsöffnungen liegenden Rinne 3. 



   Die Erfindung ist nicht nur an zweipoligen Steckdosen, sondern auch an mehrpoligen Steckdosen anwendbar.
