Zweckmässig kann die Umführungsleitung in die Leitung münden, welche die letztgenannte Turbine mit dem Wärmeaustauscher verbindet, in welchem ein Wärmeaustausch zwischen dem expandierten und dem wieder verdichteten Teil des Arbeitsmittelstromes stattfindet. Das in der Umführungsleitung vorgesehene Absperrdrosselorgan kann mit Organen verbunden sein, durch die es in Abhängigkeit von den in der Anlage auftretenden Leistungsschwankungen selbsttätig verstellt werden kann, zum Zwecke, die Durchflussmenge durch die Urnführungsleitung selbsttätig der abzugebenden Leistung anzupassen.
Auf der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes in vereinfachter Darstellungsweise beispielsweise veranschaulicht.

Die erhitzte Luft gelangt vorerst in eine Hocbdruckturbine 2, welche einen Verdichter 3 antreibt und die über ein Getriebe 4 auch mit der Welle einer zweiten Turbine 5 gekoppelt ist, die ihre Leistung mindestens zum Teil nach aussen abgibt. A bypass line with a shut-off throttle and built-in auxiliary cooler leads to the other turbine, before the turbine, which delivers the power to the outside. The working fluid can flow through this bypass line, bypassing the power output of the turbine, in order to get back into the normal cycle of the working fluid behind it.
The bypass line can expediently open into the line which connects the last-mentioned turbine to the heat exchanger, in which a heat exchange takes place between the expanded and the recompressed part of the working medium flow. The shut-off throttle device provided in the bypass line can be connected to organs through which it can be automatically adjusted depending on the power fluctuations occurring in the system, for the purpose of automatically adapting the flow rate through the bypass line to the power to be delivered.
