  Rost mit seitlichen   Feuerbaeken.   



   Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass die seitlichen Feuerbacken des Rostes aus   Plattenelementen   gebildet werden, die mittels Nut und Feder verbunden sind und die auf beiden Enden auf zueinander entgegengesetzten Seiten als Lagerstützen dienende Angüsse besitzen, wodurch die Plattenelemente auf beiden Seiten verwendbar sind und wobei weiters zwischen den genannten Angüssen Schlitze ausgespart sind, so dass die Sekundärluft zwecks   Erwärmung   in bekannter Weise vom Aschenraum hinter die Feuerbacken und von dort aus durch die Schlitze an den oberen Enden der Platten in den Feuerraum treten kann. Durch die Verwendung von Plattenelementen ist es möglich, verschiedene Feuerbackenformen und Grössen zusammenzusetzen, während die Umkehrbarkeit der einzelnen Plattenelemente die Verwendungsdauer bedeutend erhöht. 



   In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise   Ausführungsform   derartiger die Feuerbacken bildenden Plattenelemente sowie die Art ihres Einbaues und ihrer Wirkung in einem Beispiel dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt ein Plattenelement in drei Rissen und Fig. 2 ein Beispiel des Einbaues in einem Ofen im Schnitt. 



   Die Plattenelemente bestehen aus einem gegebenenfalls rechteckigen, plattenförmigen Körper   8,   der seitlich mit Nuten 16 und Federn 17 versehen ist. An den beiden Schmalseiten befinden sich zueinander entgegengesetzt stehende Angüsse 18, die'als Lagerstützen dienen und zwischen denen Schlitze 10 zum Durchgang der Sekundärluft freibleiben. Die Pfeile in Fig. 2 zeigen die Richtung des Durchganges der
Sekundärluft an, und ist aus dieser Darstellung auch die Art des Einbaues und die Möglichkeit der Umkehrung der Plattenelemente ersichtlich.

   The invention consists in that the lateral fire jaws of the grate are formed from plate elements which are connected by means of tongue and groove and which have sprues serving as bearing supports on both ends on opposite sides, whereby the plate elements can be used on both sides and further between the mentioned sprues slots are left out so that the secondary air for the purpose of heating can pass in a known manner from the ash chamber behind the firebacks and from there through the slots at the upper ends of the plates into the furnace. By using plate elements it is possible to put together different fire jaw shapes and sizes, while the reversibility of the individual plate elements increases the service life significantly.



   The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of such plate elements forming the fire jaws, as well as the type of their installation and their effect. Fig. 1 shows a plate element in three cracks and Fig. 2 shows an example of the installation in a furnace in section.



   The plate elements consist of an optionally rectangular, plate-shaped body 8 which is laterally provided with grooves 16 and tongues 17. On the two narrow sides there are sprues 18 which are opposite to one another and which serve as bearing supports and between which slots 10 remain free for the passage of the secondary air. The arrows in Fig. 2 show the direction of passage of the
Secondary air on, and this representation also shows the type of installation and the possibility of reversing the plate elements.
