Beispiel I. Über ein Gemisch aus 50 Teilen Magnesiumoxyd und 50 Teilen Natriumhydroxyd wird bei etwa 500" C ein Gasstrom, bestehend aus 33 Volumenprozent NH ;, und 65 Volumenprozent CO so lange geleitet, bis in der Gasphase 100 g Wasser im Kubikmeter enthalten sind. Nach beendigter Cyanisierung wird die Schmelze ausgelaugt und auf Cyanid verarbeitet, während die Gase nach Entfernung des Wasserdampfes in den Prozess zurückkehren.
Beispiel II. Eine Mischung aus 50 Gewichtsteilen Ammoniakgas und 50 Gewichtsteilen Kohlenoxyd werden unter Rühren durch eine Schmelze von 25 Gewichtsteilen Cyannatrium und 75 Gewichtsteilen Natriumkarbonat bei etwa 6000 C geleitet und dann das Cyanid isoliert.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Darstellung von Alkalicyaniden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Temperaturen von zweckmässig 400-8000 C ein Gemisch von Kohlenoxyd und Ammoniakgas auf ungefähr die berechnete Gewichtsmenge Alkalihydroxyde oder-Oxyde einwirken gelassen wird.

Example I.
