   Es versteht sich von selbst, dass weitere   Ausführungsformen   des beschriebenen Verfahrens sowie Änderungen an den Einzelheiten desselben im Rahmen der Erfindung möglich sind ; so könnte man z. B. so vorgehen, dass man nicht die Häute vor der Defibrierung, sondern die Fasern selbst gerbt. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Textilfasern von hoher Qualität aus Fischhäuten, insbesondere aus den Häuten der Chondropterygier-Selaeier, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die   entfleischten   Häute beispielsweise nach einer kurzen Behandlung mit Kalk der diastasisehen Wirkung von Enzymen unterwirft, wodurch sie gelockert werden, worauf man die Häute abspült und dann sofort mit beliebigen geeigneten Gerbstoffen gerbt, trocknet und entweder von Hand oder mechanisch in beliebigen bekannten geeigneten Vorrichtungen entfasert.
