Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Locking device for doors in systems with electrical safety equipment.

   In systems with electrical safety and alarm devices against the risk of break-in, a quiescent current is usually routed through all of the safety lines and contact points. The
The alarm device and thus the quiescent current is then switched on as soon as the rooms concerned are left, for example after business hours. It now happens that switching on is forgotten and thus the entire security system becomes obsolete.

   According to the invention, security against such an omission is created in that the quiescent current of the security system is passed through a magnet, the armature of which in the dropped state, i.e. when the quiescent current does not flow in the magnet, has a locking lug in the path of the key Lock of the door through which the person leaving the room must take their way. As long as the security system is not switched on, it is impossible to lock the door and the last person to leave the room is made aware that the security system is not switched on due to the impossibility of locking it.

   In the drawing, an embodiment of a door lock with the new locking device is indicated. In the lock case a, a two-armed lever b is rotatably arranged, against one end d of which the key bit c strikes when it is rotated in the direction of the arrow to lock the door. The outer end of the lever b is an armature of a magnet; formed, which is switched on in the closed circuit of the security system, not shown in the drawing. The magnet is fastened to the lock case a in any desired manner, for example by means of the angle g.

   When the closed circuit is switched on, the magnet i is energized so that its armature e is attracted and the locking lug of the lever releases the key bit o in such a way that the door can be locked.

   The armature of the electromagnet can also make it possible to insert the key into the lock as long as the closed circuit is not closed. Finally, instead of being attached to the lock or key, the escapement can also be attached to another part, for example a safety bolt that is absolutely necessary to lock the door.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Locking device for doors in systems with an electrical security device, characterized by a magnet connected to the closed circuit of the security system, the armature of which protrudes into the path of the key or any other locking part when the security system is released, so that the lock is only locked after the security system has been switched on can be.
