Cberspannungsableiter für hohe Betriebsspannungen.
Es sind Überspannungsableiter bekannt, welche aus einem Entladewiderstand und einer entsprechenden Anzahl in Reihe geschalteter Elektroden, welche eine Vielfachfm kenstrecke bilden, bestehen.
Bekannte Anordnungen dieser Art besitzen indessen nur bis zu einer verhältnismässig geringen Betriebsspannung sichere Löschfähigkeit.
Zum Zwecke einer sicheren Löschung bis zu den höchsten Betriebsspannungen wird die nachstehend beschriebene Anordnung ausgeführt.
Der Ableiter besteht n der als Beisp : el d : enenden Anordnung der Abbildungen aus einer Reihenschaltung von Teilableitern, die jeweils aus einem Entladewiderstand r einer entsprechenden Anzahl Löschelektroden e und einem zu allen oder einem Teil der Löschelektroden parallel liegenden Kondcn- satorbelag c bestehen. Der ganzen Entladesäule wird im allgemeinen eine regulierbare Funkenstrecke a vorgeschaltet, welche eine bequeme Einstellung der Entladespannung ermöglicht.
An Stelle der gleichmässigen Verteilung der Entladewiderstände über die ganze Säule, können diese in beliebiger Reihenfolge oder an d : e Enden der Säulen verlegt werden.
Durch die Reihenschaltung der entsprechenden Anzahl von Teilableitern kann, wie die Versuche beweisen, ein löschsicherer Ableiter für beliebig hohe Betriebsspannungen gebaut werden.
Die konstruktive Durchbildung der Vielfachfunkenstrecke kann dabei auf beliebige Weise durchgeführt werden, wie auch der Kondensatorbelag c als zylindrische Hülle um die Elektroden oder aber in der Achse mit ringförmigen Löschelektroden ausgebildet sein kann.

The arrangement described below is carried out for the purpose of reliable erasure up to the highest operating voltages.
The arrester consists of a series connection of partial arresters, each of which consists of a discharge resistor r, a corresponding number of erase electrodes e and a capacitor coating c lying parallel to all or some of the erase electrodes. The entire discharge column is generally preceded by an adjustable spark gap a, which enables the discharge voltage to be conveniently set.
Instead of distributing the discharge resistances evenly over the entire column, they can be laid in any order or at the ends of the columns.
By connecting the corresponding number of partial arresters in series, an extinguishing-proof arrester can be built for any high operating voltage, as the experiments show.
The structural formation of the multiple spark gap can be carried out in any way, just as the capacitor coating c can be designed as a cylindrical shell around the electrodes or in the axis with ring-shaped quenching electrodes.
