    Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf elektrische Flüssigkeitserhitzer mit konzentrischen Elektroden und zwischen diesen angeordneten, zweckmässig verstellbaren Isolierringen und sie besteht darin, dass in den Isolierringen axiale Durchbrechungen angeordnet sind, durch welche die in den Radialkanälen zwischen den Ringen erwärmte Flüssigkeit und die gebildeten Dampfblasen aufsteigen. 



  Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen ein Ausführungsbeispiel. Die zentrale Innenelektrode a ist in bekannter Weise von einer Anzahl flacher, ringscheibenförmiger Isolierkörper b umgeben, die in Fig. 1 alle dicht aufeinanderliegen, so dass von der Innenelektrode a zum Aussenzylinder (Kesselmantel) kein stromleitender Flüssigkeitsquerschnitt freigegeben ist. Durch Anheben der Isolationskörper b in den Dampfraum des Kessels, Fig. 2, werden Flüssigkeitszonen in Gestalt von Radialkanälen freigegeben, deren Gesamtquerschnitt sich je nach der gewünschten Leistung einstellen lässt. Der Bewegungsantrieb ist in Fig. 2 nicht dargestellt. Die Elektrode a steht, um einen Nebenschluss nach unten zu vermeiden, auf einer Isolierplatten. Der Strom verläuft radial von der Innenelektrode a zum Kesselmantel.

   Um dem erwärmten Wasser bzw. den Dampfblasen eine AbzugsmögIichkeit zu schaffen, besitzen nun die Isolierkörper b erfindungsgemäss zahlreiche axiale Durchbrechungen, die unten trichterförmig erweitert sind, um das Emporsteigen der Dampfblasen zu erleichtern. Die Isolierkörper b könnten auch, wie in Fig. 3 gezeichnet, so ausgebildet sein, dass sie Ansätze e besitzen, die zur gegenseitigen Distanzierung dienen. Diese Ausführung ist dann notwendig, wenn man die Bewegung der Isolierkörper vermeiden will und die Regulierung durch Änderung des Wasserstandes vornimmt. Fig. 4 zeigt im Grundriss eine Ausführung für Drehstrom. 



  PATENT-ANSPRUCHE : 1. Vorrichtung zum elektrischen Erhitzen von selbst den Heizwiderstand bildenden Flüssigkeiten in Dampfkesseln od. dgl., bei welcher eine zentrale Elektrode von flachen, ringscheibenförmigen Isolierkörpern mit dazwischen angeordneten Radialkanälen umgeben ist, gekennzeichnet durch in den Isolierkörpern axial angeordnete Durchbrechungen, in welchen die in den stromdurchflossenen Radialkanälen erwärmte Flüssigkeit und die gebildeten Dampfblasen aufsteigen.

    The invention relates to electrical liquid heaters with concentric electrodes and appropriately adjustable insulating rings arranged between them and it consists in that axial openings are arranged in the insulating rings through which the liquid heated in the radial channels between the rings and the vapor bubbles formed rise.



  Figs. 1 and 2 show an embodiment. The central inner electrode a is surrounded in a known manner by a number of flat, annular disk-shaped insulating bodies b, which in FIG. 1 all lie close to one another so that no electrically conductive liquid cross-section is exposed from the inner electrode a to the outer cylinder (boiler shell). By lifting the insulation body b into the steam space of the boiler, FIG. 2, liquid zones in the form of radial channels are released, the total cross-section of which can be adjusted depending on the desired output. The movement drive is not shown in FIG. In order to avoid a downward shunt, the electrode a stands on an insulating plate. The current runs radially from the inner electrode a to the boiler shell.

   In order to create a withdrawal possibility for the heated water or the steam bubbles, the insulating bodies b according to the invention now have numerous axial openings which are widened in a funnel shape at the bottom in order to make it easier for the steam bubbles to rise. The insulating bodies b could also, as shown in FIG. 3, be designed in such a way that they have projections e which serve to distance one another.
