Abstract

Reivindicación 24: Un polinucleótido aislado que comprende una secuencia de ácidos nucleicos con al menos 90% de identidad de secuencia con el polinucleótido de la SEQ ID Nº 1.Claim 1: A nucleic acid vector comprising a 3’ UTR operably linked to: a) a polylinker or short polynucleotide sequence; b) a non-Zea mays chlorophyll a/b binding protein gene; or c) a combination of a) and b), wherein said 3’ UTR comprises a polynucleotide sequence with at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 1. Claim 10: A plant comprising a polynucleotide sequence with at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 1 operably linked to a transgene. Claim 18: A transgenic seed produced from the plant of claim 10. Claim 19: A method for producing a transgenic plant cell, the method comprising the steps of: a) transforming a plant cell with a gene expression cassette comprising a 3’ UTR of the Zea mays chlorophyll a/b binding protein gene operably linked to at least one polynucleotide sequence of interest; b) isolating the transformed plant cell comprising the gene expression cassette; and, c) producing a transgenic plant cell comprising the 3’ UTR of the Zea mays chlorophyll a/b binding protein gene operably linked to at least one polynucleotide sequence of interest. Claim 24: An isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence with at least 90% sequence identity to the polynucleotide of SEQ ID NO: 1.
