Abstract
Un sistema de contacto en equicorriente orientado verticalmente y métodos para la separación de impurezas de una corriente de gas que incluyen un contactor en equicorriente orientado verticalmente (VOCC) ubicado en línea con una cañería, una mezcladora orientada verticalmente (VOM) que incluye un anillo de soporte anular configurado para mantener la VOM dentro de la cañería, una cantidad de cuchillas radiales configuradas para permitir el flujo de una corriente líquida en la VOM, y un cono de entrada de gas central configurado para permitir el flujo de una corriente de gas a través de una sección hueca dentro de la VOM, una sección de transferencia de masa orientada verticalmente corriente descendente de la VOM.
